EOSC Data Commons opens the submissions to express interest in testing our services
EOSC Data Commons Opens Call for Early Adopters to Advance Research Data Tools

EOSC Data Commons has launched an Open Call inviting research organisations, data repository managers, and service providers to test and shape its pioneering services for the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
The initiative targets two flagship services:
- EOSC Matchmaker, which enables federated discovery of research data and tools using metadata and knowledge graphs, and
- EOSC Data Player, which creates execution environments to seamlessly link discovery with analysis across computing platforms.
Early adopters' input will refine these services ahead of their June 2026 public release, prioritising repositories with OAI-PMH or DataCite schemas.
Eligible participants include data managers testing federated discovery, researchers exploring cross-disciplinary workflows, EOSC nodes experimenting with infrastructure, and tool developers looking for integrations.
To join, submit an Expression of Interest via the project website at https://www.eosc-data-commons.eu/open-call.
This call supports EOSC Data Commons' goal of building a trusted ecosystem for data lifecycle management, boosting interdisciplinary research across Europe.
