EOSC Data Commons Joins Forces with LUMEN, DataGEMS, and RaiseSuite to Strengthen Collaboration Across the EOSC Ecosystem
EOSC Data Commons is pleased to announce the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding with LUMEN, DataGEMS, and RAISE Suite, marking the commitment to collaborate on advancing interoperable, sustainable, and user-driven services within the European Open Science Cloud ecosystem.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation among the four projects, with a clear focus on technical coordination, service sustainability, use case alignment, and joint events. Through this collaboration, the projects will share expertise, align relevant activities, and strengthen the impact of their work across the EOSC Federation and wider research communities.
Under the Joint Work Plan, the projects will collaborate in several key areas: from service sustainability and their relationship with the EOSC Federation, to communication and events, technical collaboration, and user support and use cases. Planned activities include sharing information on key exploitable results, coordinating joint dissemination and outreach, organising cross-project technical meetings and workshops, and aligning user research efforts to reduce duplication and maximise the efforts.
This MoU reflects the shared ambition of the four projects to work together in a coordinated way, promoting reuse, interoperability, and stronger connections of their results, communities, and future adoption pathways to increase the overall visibility and impact of the outcomes.
